How we verify hospital data

A directory is only as useful as its accuracy. This page explains exactly where our data comes from and what “Verified” means.

Where the data comes from

Listings are compiled from hospital websites and official communications, government scheme empanelment lists (PM-JAY and Aarogyasri portals), accreditation registries (NABH/NABL), and direct confirmation with hospital front desks. No hospital can pay to alter its data or its position in results.

What the “Verified” date means

Every hospital page displays a Last verified date. That is the most recent date on which we re-checked the listing's core fields: operational status, address, specialties, key facilities (emergency, ICU, blood bank, ambulance) and scheme/insurer acceptance. Older dates mean higher chance of drift — treat them accordingly.

What we can't guarantee

Insurance networks and scheme empanelment change frequently, sometimes without public notice. Bed availability, doctor rosters and tariffs change daily and are out of our scope. Always confirm critical details — especially cashless insurance eligibility for your specific policy and procedure — directly with the hospital before admission.

Corrections

If you spot an error, we want to know. Corrections submitted by users and hospitals are re-checked against source documents before the listing is updated and its verification date refreshed.
